It's been over two weeks since my last post. Where has the time gone? I haven't done much stitching, and what I have done is for the Tiny Treasures exchange. So, it looks like I can' t post that one right now.
The holiday went really well. Except for the part where we had to have it at Granny's...but that is a whole 'nother story. Alex got LOTS of stuff. I don't have the pictures yet, but when I do, I'll post them.
Steve got me an electric kettle, Bye Bye Birdie on DVD, and a subscription to The Gift of Stitching online magazine. I'm really looking forward to getting my first issue.
I posted photos of my fabric dyeing experiment earlier. Now, you can see a few skeins of the thread I have done. These were done, just playing around.

Two Weeks!?!
Right now, I'm not sure what I am going to do with these. I am thinking about using them as give-aways, but I don't know if anyone is interested in them or not. I have a few others, but I haven't scanned them yet. If I find that people want them, I'll scan the other skeins I did so folks will have a choice.

I'm sure lots of folks will be interested by a thread giveaway ;-)
Glad you had a great christmas in spite of being at your grand'ma's place ;-)
Now: go back to stitch please !!! lol
The threads are really pretty...not in the colors I use a lot but I'm sure others would love to have some. We may even have a exchange coming up you could use them for.
Lovely colors! I'm made a thred giveaway last week in my blog. And I got much more volunteers than I planed to hive threads to )) So, good luck ;)
And a the passionate thread dyeer I gave questions))
What fyes do you use and are they colorfast?
I'm really glad I found your blog!
The threads are great. I really love the one on the right especially!
It's on my list of things to learn to do one day!!
Threads turned out well - glad your holiday went well.
Your threads look nice, dying is one thing I don't think I will be trying! You should enjoy the GOS, there is usually at least one thing I print out from each issue.
I think that your floss looks great. The dying is very nicely done. I should think anyone would be interested in receiving them in a give away.
What pretty colors! try using them in a biscornu or ornament!
